Her Hue was founded by Shinade Nair, an Auckland-based photographer with a love for honest, unposed moments. What began as a personal passion for capturing motherhood has grown into a body of work that celebrates the raw, beautiful reality of bringing new life into the world.

Hi, I'm Shinade — mother, artist, and the eye behind Her Hue. Photography, for me, isn't just about taking pictures; it's about preserving feeling. I want every client to walk away with images that feel like them: warm, honest, and full of love.

I believe in slowing down. Sessions are relaxed and unrushed, giving space for genuine connection — between you and your baby, and between you and the camera. No forced smiles, no stiff poses. Just you, your story, and the light.
